4-25 Rhule Spring game PC

It's raining today and tomorrow in Lincoln. Supposed to catch a break on Sat with 75 and sunny before the storms roll back in Sat night. Looking like good weather for kickoff.
Sounds good. It would be a real bummer if there was lightning in the area.

Probably a silly question, but what is meant by the QBs not being live? Just that they will have green jerseys and can’t be tackled?

He says ones on ones BUT he's holding out experienced starters. So we're going to likely have multiple offensive line and D Line starters play very little and maybe not at all. I'm not sure that's going to give us much of a realistic picture of where the offense in particular is at. It should be entertaining to get to see the QBs throw a few passes but I'm not going to read too much in to their performances based on missing pieces on both side of the ball.

Despite comments to the contrary, the Spring Game is never really about serious football. It's an event staged mainly for fans and visiting recruits. The most Rhule will get out of it is seeing how younger players react to the crowd and hopefully some recruiting juice.

It is spelled gray damn it. We are not in socialist England.
Ummmm...this country has trended socialist since we started using the income tax for things other than national defense. It really swung that way with the expansion to social security, medicare and medicaid. Now we have the executive branch giving away billions to favored groups without congressional approval. Yeah, we're not that much different than the UK or France.

Glad that it's going to be a regular scrimmage. I never understood those teams (especially Frost) that were afraid to have their kids tackle each other four months before their first game.
Their problem was how thin his depth was. They had huge holes in their rosters in spring ball.

You shouldn’t ever read too much in to their performances for a Spring Game.
It’s a fun experience and an April football fix for the fans. It can be an awesome recruiting tool in that recruits get to see first hand the Love the players get.
But, at the end of the day, it’s the 15th Practice of the new year.
