So let me get this straight… you’d prefer if he leaves. Meanwhile, our other freshman QB has already portalled, and the other QB this year is changing positions.
We would have NO scholarship QB except the freshman coming in (Lateef) and whoever we might pick up in the portal. And you would prefer that.

Maybe not on the field, but certainly got the guys ready on the practice field as a redshirt. Still got a ring. That’s a championship in everyone’s book. So, he did win a national championship no matter what you think about his participation.
Not sure he would have started at an Ohio State or a Georgia. With a year under his belt now he likely would.
That said, I don’t see him leaving this year.
His name isn't on the building from being a redshirt, its from actual performance on the field.

I absolutely agree with you. I was just pointing out that he did in fact win a national championship. That’s not what landed his name on the building, it was the all-American status and the trophies he won. But thanks for thinking I didn’t already know that…
