I was checking out a bowl opt out list and I'm disappointing to see that B.C.'s star pass rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku has not opted out for the draft. He's expected to be a first round pick. He could be a major problem for our offense. Our opt outs aren't listed on this list. Michigan lost several players, but almost all of them are projected first rounders.

This other tracker includes portal transfers. It appears that the Huskers were barely affected by the portal compared to some teams. Tim Beck has half his team in the portal.

Do you blame the player? For an also ran bowl game with a risk of blowing out a knee or some other injury. In a way it sad but in today’s world there is no loyalty to the school

Teams need a separate NIL fund for players to play in bowl games.
This could have been simply solved years ago but the ncaa are cowards.

If you opt out of playing, you pay back your scholarship. Simple. Youre being paid a scholarship to be on the football team. If you choose not to, you lose it for that semester. I dont know how they didnt do this. With nil today it doesnt matter quite as much but still, its the principle. Youre being paid to play football so if you choose not to then pay it back.

I think Nebraska's players and coaches are a major problem on offense. And defense. ;) Just kidding.

That first list is just an incomplete hodgepodge of random announcements. Some guys going to the draft, sow to the portal. But just a super small sample size of guys they think are important.

The second list looks thorough, but it looks like it might be from a while ago. Emmet Johnson is still listed as in the portal, Nate B, McMorris, and Neyor aren’t listed, etc.

Gunner won’t be able to handle him one on one either. We are going to have to help on him no matter where he is lined up.
Exactly why I’m want everyone on deck to play for BC. I want to see how DH schemes this offense. I’m excited to see how he pulls the strings on offense. We got small sample size towards the end of the season. Now with a few weeks to work with. Very curious to see what it looks like

Or we could … earn it?
Yes. I know that my opinion isn't going to be "correct" necessarily. With respect to the NFL draft, we've had two guys opt out. One will probably get drafted. Meanwhile their stud is staying with the team. I guess as long as the team can game plan around their pass rush, we'll be OK. Dylan will not be able to hold onto the ball for long.

Yeah, there's a lot of names missing probably from a lot of teams. Just goes to show what a joke the portal has become.

I’ve been saying coaches who choose not to win should also be paying back some of their $$$.
It sucks to overpay for 3 win seasons.

Yes

The school paid for your free room and board ,medical expenses, training, travel and a opportunity to display your skills. That costs normal people millions to display.

Fck yes I blame the sht selfish ass players.

I'm sure Holgorsen will scheme around Donovan Ezeiruaku and hopefully help him have a quiet game where he won't be a factor. Holgorsen is not a dummy and fully aware of the talents of Ezeiruaku. BC has some troubles of their own trying to keep Robinson and Hutmacher out of its backfield not to mention _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ you can fill in the blank.

Nebraska isn't exactly in trouble on the defensive side of the ball or the offensive side for that matter. It's going to be a good game in my opinion and a game Nebraska will win. Ask yourself this question, if BC was playing Iowa, OSU, CU, in this bowl game who wins? BC has a good football team but they're not exactly on the same level of the teams I mentioned.
