We are looking into getting a hotel for my son's birthday as he wants to swim. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which hotel around Omaha has the best pool? Do any have an indoor heated pool? Not a necessity but would be nice!

Despite being the only recruit that Fred has brought in so far, I've kept up with Rice at IMG, and I really like what I see. I don't know how much to scale him to higher level of competition, but I think they found something with him. An off the radar find too.

Tried to find overall season stats, but no luck. He's had a fairly good season to date though after moving up from small ball Tennessee to IMG. Will be interesting to continue to follow.

I just read a fantastic article called "Bison Ecology and Bison Diplomacy: The Southern Plains from 1800 to 1850" that reshaped my view on the plains Indians and the American Bison.

The Indians specifically killed young female Bison in their mating years because the meat and hides were higher quality. Combine that with diseases brought from stealing cattle, drought, and loss of habitat from large mustang heards all lead to the Bison population collapsing in the southern plains 20-30 years before the "Buffalo Wars" in the 1870s and 1880s.
