Opposing QB Completion % VS Their Season AVG

I was curious how opposing QB's did completion percentage wise vs Nebraska and against their season average. I highlighted which was lower, against Nebraska or the season. Only three QB's performed worse against Nebraska than against their season average. UNI's QB hit his average against us and I didn't count Maiva since that was his first game of the year and he has only one other game to add. Five QB's had what I would consider concerningly good games against us completion wise. What is everyones thoughts? Does Butler get a pass? How much blame does White shoulder?

UTEP Skyler Locklear Season 65.7% vs Nebraska 64.7%
Colorado Shedeur Sanders 73.4% vs Nebraska 60.5%
UNI Aidan Dunne Season 60.4% vs Nebraska 60.5%
Illinois Luke Altmyer Season 61% vs Nebraska 77.7%
Purdue Hudson Card Season 58.7% vs Nebraska 72%
Rutgers Aithan Kaliakmanis 54.5% vs Nebraska 40.5%
Indiana Kurtis Rourke Season 69.9% vs Nebraska 80.9%
Ohio State Will Howard 74% vs Nebraska 81.2%
UCLA Ethan Garber 64.7% vs Nebraska 68%
USC I wont list since that was his first game
Wisconsin Braedyn Locke 56.4% vs Nebraska 66.7%

Unless Boise State loses the Big 12 has no chance of a bye. Big 12 has enough chaos that it is not impossible that the ACC champion, either Army or Tulane, end up getting the 5th conference champion autobid and leave the Big 12 out all together.

Sunday Series Watch

If you are like me and not a big fan of the NFL then here is a series. Landman on paramount is freaking GOOD!

Only on the second episode but I'm hooked! Granted I don't know that world of roughnecks and oil to know if it's BS. By that I mean I can't really can't watch military shows because my real life experiences make them seem stupid.

Anyway it's a great show to help not pout about our beloved Huskers!

Our blocking was TREMENDOUS yesterday (rewatching the full replay)

Holgorsen was NOT kidding around with the "no block, no rock" talk ... the WRs got out in space and did DAMAGE on the Badgers secondary

The new starting TE - 87 - is a STUD and played like his entire life depended on it

the pass blocking was TREMENDOUS all day - really was - shocking how a good schematic approach can free up the OL to properly execute their tasks so that Raiola can then execute his (which he did ALL day).

Really just a GREAT offensive performance all around:

44 points
473 total yards! (this is 1995 type stuff)

can't argue with those results ...

7/7 in the Red Zone with 4 TDs and our kicking game was even on point ...

Football Postgame notebook: Why Wisconsin is important to Rhule, winning middle 8

A quick notebook-type piece of content for this late morning.

> Why Rhule said the Wisconsin game will always be important for him and his wife, Julie
> Nebraska's defense didn't allow a rushing touchdown at home this season. It marks the first time NU went an entire home season without allowing a rushing touchdown since 1939
> Winning the middle eight and staying with 12 personnel in two-minute paid off in the first half

Coaching Matters Thread

Same kids, but 44 points. They even threw that dumb TE pass behind the line. Difference was they threw it to Lindenmeyer who can move laterally. Resulted in an 8 yd gain.

Defense was poop at times, but we played lots of puppies out there.

Holgorson's bluntness seems to offset some of Rhule's beta qualities.

You have to have a McBride for an Osborne, and maybe they have that now.
