Marcos Davila

Just read an article on this kid and must have missed his addition to the Nebraska roster. From the way the article reads, DR better be working his butt off because this kid is gunning for the starting spot.

Deng Diew

Living in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho I’ve been watching Deng Diew play for North Idaho college. I see on the program he’s from Omaha. Can anyone comment on his playing days in Omaha. He’s been a crowd favorite and produces a lot of points and excitement. Seems like a very nice young man. I hope he can possibly get to the next level

good luck/bad luck

Yesterday: I'm packing for my golf trip to Myrtle area and my grandson opened up my umbrella in the living room. My wife says, "that's bad luck, ya know."

This morning: Standing in line to check in at the airport and as I'm walking up to the counter I get a notice on my phone that my flight from Newark to Wilmington is canceled due to weather. Luckily I noticed the cancellation on my app because the counter did not show it being canceled on their end. That's the bad news...the good news is I got the notice before leaving on my connecting flight left to Denver so was able to cancel the whole trip and avoid going at all. I will reschedule.

In the long run this might be a blessing. Golf weather forecast in Myrtle is very nice tomorrow but then pretty chilly the following few days with good chances for rain. Plus, now I think my wife can go if I reschedule for early March.

Recruiting Georgia four-star S commit sets Nebraska OV

Georgia four-star safety commit Jontavius Wyman will make an official visit to Nebraska on June 6. We reported in last week's Tim-Bits that Nebraska was trending towards earning an official visit, that date has now been set by the four-star, who pledged to the Bulldogs this past summer. He's also planning to make an official visit to Miami and Georgia.

Before his OV, the Huskers are hoping to get him on campus in March or April for an unofficial visit.
