A few hundred yards away, construction workers raced to complete a state-of-the-art, $165 million football performance center along the northeast side of Memorial Stadium. Rhule says his current office inside the Osborne Athletics Complex is the nicest he has ever called home. He'll get an upgrade soon when he receives the keys to a new office inside the adjacent 315,000-square-foot facility.
“He's gonna hate that I said this,” said Nebraska defensive line coach Terrance Knighton, who played for Rhule at Temple, “but he is borderline genius. He does everything with a purpose. He knows how to get things out of certain guys and coaches. He builds a competitive nature within a locker room. He's just got this way to express himself. You can feel it's authentic.”

“The talent is great, the university is great, the resources are great,” Rhule said. “It's kind of like a beast we need to awaken.”

Shilo Sanders is joining his father Deion and brother Shedeur in Boulder.

1894 - Bobby Lowe (Boston Red Sox) became the first player to hit four home runs in one game.

1911 - Ray Harroun won the first Indianapolis Sweepstakes. The 500-mile auto race later became known as the Indianapolis 500. Harroun's average speed was 74.59 miles per hour.

1922 - Max Flack (Chicago Cubs) and Cliff Heathcote (St. Louis Cardinals) were traded for each other between the morning and afternoon games of a Memorial Day twin bill. They played one game for each team.

1927 - Walter Johnson of the Washington Senators recorded his 113th career shutout. It was also the final shutout of his career.

1927 - Jim Cooney (Chicago Cubs) became the sixth player to record an unassisted triple play against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He caught Paul Waner's line drive, stepped on second to double Lloyd Waner and then tagged Clyde Barnhart coming from first.

Maybe it’s been discussed, just curious if Nebraska has any interest?

I have noticed how often we get multiple high profile recruits from the same HS and same class to visit at the same time. Example Baker and Frasier this yr. My first thoughts have always been, "That's great! If we can get one to commit, it will increase the odds of getting the other one". But then I started trying to remember when that actually held up. trying to think back over the last 12-15 yrs I can only really remember the Calabassas boys (Gebbia/Johnson) from out of state. I am not counting in-state duos like Heinrich and Hickman btw. Are there others I am missing?

Rewatched the 2022 Iowa win and thought the OL did a good job against a stout defense. They allowed one sack and three legitimate hurries but for the most part gave CT enough time to operate the passing game. CT missed two more passing TD's by underthrowing Palmer and overthrowing Martin. This OL had Bando, Piper and Hixson starting. They'll be replaced by (barring injury) Teddy, NN and Scott. Maybe we'll have a decent OL in "23.

Also, after watching the game, I predict Rhamir Johnson will become Rhule's favorite RB.
