Who should get the last spot in the college playoffs? I think the eye test is a poor way to judge teams, they've all looked good and bad. I think it should be based on Quality Wins and bad losses. Teams should have to prove they belong by having some quality wins and should show that they don't belong by not having bad losses.

Alabama: Quality wins against Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri and LSU, bad losses against Vanderbilt and Oklahoma. I have a hard time giving a bid to a team that lost to two 6-6 teams and to be frank no team that loses to Vanderbilt should ever get to go to the college football playoff.

SMU: Quality wins, maybe Louisville or Duke, but really none, bad losses maybe BYU, but really none. I have a hard time giving a bid to a team that hasn't beaten a good team and didn't win their conference. Is beating Duke really something that makes you one of the nation's best teams?

South Carolina: Quality wins, Texas A&M, Clemson, Missouri, bad losses none, maybe LSU. They'd be my choice to go.

Ole Miss: Quality wins, South Carolina, Georgia, bad losses Kentucky, Florida. Can a playoff team lose to 4-8 Kentucky?

Miami: Quality wins, maybe Louisville or Duke, but really none, bad losses Georgia Tech and Syracuse. Another team that hasn't beaten anybody note worthy.
