One corner short

Depth at corner was the biggest question on my mind for this D to really be Tier 1, as for many others. Feels like once T Hill got hurt, the D struggled, 15 is playing decent, but last two games gets targeted a lot, be real nice to have a healthy 6 and 3 on both sides, with the pass rush it all works. Super happy about the W, but basically just saying 6 was legit, and hope we don’t rush him and get him back healthy at some point, he’s a freak GBR

Rhule

I think you read my thread from last week because we def didn’t fold. I know it’s just Purdue but it’s never about the other team it’s about us and how we respond to adversity. This is the fist game in a long time that I can remember having our backs against the wall and we didn’t give up. We actually seemed to get better and better as the game went on. (Stat wise…didn’t get to watch it all yet)

Anyways, I’m super pleased with this win and the way the team chose to hang on and fight until the end! Something that’s been missing for far too long. This is a momentum builder that these kids needed.

Rhule is the right man for this job! Keep grinding all week and let’s kick some Rutgers ass!

Alabama doesn’t get flagged right?

It’s been years since I’ve watched a full Bama game but understand the narrative about never getting holding penalties and favorable treatment by refs. I’ve witnessed at least 10 penalties that aren’t called. Wasn’t sure if it was preference to Saban, but wanted to ask the masses if it’s been happening all year still after Saban retired?

Having said that, Georgia is awful and should only be losing by 15 without the refs.

Football Snap Judgments: First five thoughts on Nebraska-Purdue

Nebraska was sluggish, mistake-filled, penalty-prone and more. And yet ... dominated? Right?

What a weird feeling. Saturday showed us the exact inverse of what the Huskers had struggled with over the first three games ... and also showed us the exact same thing we had seen over the last two games.

My first five thoughts after watching a disappointing, pressure-packed, disgusting, beautiful win for Nebraska:
