I think a huge part of it - ESPECIALLY in this day and age - is that when a team is great, they are inescapable, and start to grate on people. The Chiefs have been in peoples' lives from Week 1 until the Super Bowl for 3 years straight, 5 years out of the last 6, we know their personalities, their celebrations, their players are in sooo many annoying commercials, we know too much about their families/wives/girlfriends, ya know what I mean? Modern sports media has made it unbearable because of all the attention on things OTHER than the on-field greatness.

They are only in people lives because these geniuses can't stay off social media. Probably a large percentage are the same ones claiming to not watch ESPN, but actually do watch it. It's self inflicted.

Since I don’t like the B1G and don’t like how Nebraska is officiated in the conference, you think I should go along with your nonsensical views on the Chiefs, including the awful example you gave of the late hit in the Cinnci game? No thanks.

What I see is more prof you don’t actually like Nebraska or Nebraska fans, just like to hate.

If Nebraska is officiated poorly it’s cool because you hate the coach. When a team you don’t like gets a call you don’t like, you are angry, because you hate them and want them to lose. Just want to hate. Hate, hate, hate.

It used to be fun when it was directed at the trolls from other boards but now you have so much in common with them, you spend more time defending them than anything, and that’s a thing of the past. Sad times.

I’ve said this before, but right now being a Chiefs fan is the exact opposite of being a Nebraska fan.

For all the crying about this, that, or the other in the Buffalo game, if the roles were reversed and KC had the ball down three with two minutes left, you know they are going down and scoring and winning that game. Man do I wish Nebraska games were like that.

It's gotten to the point that even if they had taken the catch away from worthy and they had to rely on the penalty to pick up the first down.You know, they were going to score a touch down in the next play or 2.Because that's just how they do.

Someone I know summed up the Chiefs by saying "Sometimes they look like they might not be the best. But then they are."

While this only affected the PAT kick and didn't impact the outcome of the game at all, it was the most embarrassing piece of officiating I've seen in a while. First the crew allowed that neanderthal asshole to go on and on and on taunting the Bills DB, then they flagged the only guy who had the balls to finally step in and put a stop to it.

Hope Taylor Swift didn't get jealous, watching Clete Blakeman give her boyfriend a tuggy.
