Discipline is a huge part of 2 gap defense as you know coach. What I’ve witnessed under Frost and Chin tells me no. Plus we lost quite a few key contributors.

Here’s the annoying thing about “2-gapping”…

It’s a wonderful phrase, but at some point during the play, everyone is actually only playing 1-gap.

So what it turns into, because of numbers, isn’t if you’ve got the DL to play “two-gap”, but if you’ve got the safeties that can play the extra gap. If Myles Farmer is starting, then Nebraska most certainly does not.
