like everyone, you should be compensated based on production
politicians produce nothing, thus, they should be compensated nothing
I do not think we'd notice if every pol in America was wiped off the planet.
certainly for me, nothing would change. have thrown every ballot in the trash for 10 straight years. so, I guess maybe I'd get less mail every however often elections take place.
Don't get me wrong. I'm for some invasive stuff when it comes to politicians. I think being able to vote yourself raises is some BS, amongst other stuff.
My statement was leading.
If there is any profession that is only has incentive based pay. It is definitely politicians
Still waiting for the tetonia dude to tell us exactly how much he donates to NIL...and while i'm at it, what do you think everyone else should be donating??

Why should politicians be paid more than the people you trust to educate your kids for 7 hours every day? Congressmen work even fewer days a year than teachers.
Most politicians are rich anyway, or they will be. Pillen already has a net worth in the hundreds of millions. Even politicians who come in without a lot of money are usually offered lucrative jobs after they leave office.
10k-ish. Not enough to make a difference. But enough to be pissed about what’s on the field. I’m a ‘minor contributor’. The money is there, and that’s what should be taken away from that.
We’re on the same page about investing in better things. Point is that a LOT of money has been put in, and it’s not on our football field. I want to know WHY. Want some transparency in the process. Something to show that people care about the lack of talent that’s so VERY obvious.
The real problem is the transfer rules. Yes, I know coaches can leave whenever. I don't care. You get a degree with all the perks and now you can get paid in NIL. You shouldn't be able to transfer and be immediately eligible, cry me a river and get over it.
So many of them get filthy rich by being in public office despite low salaries. Just have a look at the net worth of several of those DC career politicians. There's a lot of financial "perks" that go along with being in office.
