I’m assuming this dude had an inkling of how this would play out and that he was risking ending his career in higher ed. Also, if he wasn’t in violation of his contractual duties, he was paid a very generous severance and has a tenured position (which the school is challenging).
The dude has published books with his wife on how porn enhances their relationship under pseudonyms.
The admin job is will and pleasure, but he is likely to prevail on the tenure challenge.
