I’ve been calling for this for weeks wondering if or when UCF players might not play with 100 fire or effort or at least have a down game when they actually find out or realize their HC would be leaving.
You could argue USF was not greatest game on D for UCF if you compare other scores but their D has been rarely great if ever
2 ways I see it going.
Either they continue to play with same fire because it’s just inherent and instilled in them and maybe they still play hard for coach. Maybe they know Walters likely staying and they happy
or
we see some letdown rebellion knowing he’s bailing and they are dejected.
Don’t be surprised with latter but I would expect the former. After all players play the game and deserve the accolades for winning a conf title. Coaches only do so much
