Now that Colorado has moved back to the little 12, it will be interesting to see who they add next. I predict that either Arizona will jump or the little 12 will add UConn.
At some point the dominoes have to start falling. Pac 12 can't continue to lose teams without replacing them. I would be kind of surprised if then next Pac 12 defections don't come in chunks. Now that Colorado has moved back to the little 12, it will be interesting to see who they add next. Az, asu, utah
I've read that Utah does not want to be in the same conference as BYU...Since the Big 12 boss said they're taking one more... my guess is Utah.
They probably didn't think Colorado was going to leave, so they didn't think it was necessary to expand. At some point the dominoes have to start falling. Pac 12 can't continue to lose teams without replacing them. I would be kind of surprised if then next Pac 12 defections don't come in chunks.
Surprised that whole thing went down with San Diego State and the Pac 12 didn't welcome them with open arms.
I think we should give them Northwestern.Well, if it were up to some on this board. Nebraska.😒
I guess. If they didn't mind losing 2 Socal schools and not replacing them. They probably didn't think Colorado was going to leave, so they didn't think it was necessary to expand.
Do they really have a choice? Better to be in the b12 with byu than whatever becomes of the pac.I've read that Utah does not want to be in the same conference as BYU...

Power conference 😅Now that Colorado has moved back to the little 12, it will be interesting to see who they add next. I predict that either Arizona will jump or the little 12 will add UConn.
I prefer, “midgets and misfits”, myself.I notice you really like to use the phrase "little 12" repeatedly. Kind of sour grapes sounding, don't ya think?
I have read the same but the PAC-12 is going down in a flaming ball of shit. Also, there are bigger names that have better options than Utah.I've read that Utah does not want to be in the same conference as BYU...
"WE?" - in case you don't know, we've been a member of the Big 10 since 2011; Northwestern's been a member since 1896. If they start kicking schools out, we'll be out on our ass long before they are.I think we should give them Northwestern.
PS... it's a conference version of musical chairs. Don't want to be left out.
Well of course. The Big brass protects all the scandal riddled member institutions. They would much prefer to kick us out for threatening to play football then the racist and sexual deviant old timers of the god for saken conference. They just bring out the broom to sweep actual scandals under the rug."WE?" - in case you don't know, we've been a member of the Big 10 since 2011; Northwestern's been a member since 1896. They don't deserve to be a Power 5 conference after Texass and Oklahoma leave.I notice you really like to use the phrase "little 12" repeatedly. Kind of sour grapes sounding, don't ya think?

I think it was a joke."WE?" - in case you don't know, we've been a member of the Big 10 since 2011; Northwestern's been a member since 1896. If they start kicking schools out, we'll be out on our ass long before they are.
Does that include the current conference makeup? Not that the Big12 is great or that Colorado will add much, but USC and UCLA being gone from the PAC next year would theoretically make the ACC possibly better than the PAC. And if that is currently the power rankings, OU and Texas leaving will make the B12 slide even more.

I’d be curious to see the measure by which this was determined
That's rich, coming from the supporter of a conference where 5 out of it's 14 and soon to be 13 members are former G5 teams. If that large of a percentage of your conference consists of G5 teams, then that conference is basically a glorified G5 conference. It may have been a joke but this poster is such an obnoxious Big 10 booster - constantly trashing our old Big 8 mates and clearly being inordinately proud of now being a "Big 10 Man" - that I just couldn't resist putting a pin in his ego balloon and pointing out just how very junior we are in the Big 10.
what if 4/14 of your programs are ranked below 100th (out of 130) all-time?That's rich, coming from the supporter of a conference where 5 out of it's 14 and soon to be 13 members are former G5 teams. The little 12 has a lot of all time historically bad programs. K-State (pre Bill Snyder), Iowa State, and Kansas are among some of the worst programs of all time.what if 4/14 of your programs are ranked below 100th (out of 130) all-time?

There's that, and if you want Washington in your conference you have to take Washington State per their state constitution, or that is what I read last.I have read the same but the PAC-12 is going down in a flaming ball of shit. Also, there are bigger names that have better options than Utah.

Agree, if washington and oregon went to B12 they would only be there until the B10 offered so I don't think the b12 will even invite them. The schools you listed have no better options.Az, asu, utah
It's Disney's own fault they are losing customers. They are getting what they deserve. There's that, and if you want Washington in your conference you have to take Washington State per their state constitution, or that is what I read last.
The balloon is going to burst in time. The money is going to dry up starting with the collapse of ESPN. Their money supply is shrinking with people cutting the cable and with Disney hemorrhaging money doesn't help. ESPN was getting money from people who never watched their channel and those days are gone. If they go strictly streaming their revenues will drop even more, which means less monies for rental contracts paid to the college conferences and professional sports leagues. I think this will be the last huge money telecast rights deal for the B1G and other conferences. In about 15 years you will see the conferences go back to a smaller footprint due to the traveling costs of the minor sports. Ebb and flo of life...
Since ESPN is a Disney company, I do not subscribe to ESPN+ for FCS gamesIt's Disney's own fault they are losing customers. They are getting what they deserve.
I heard that the UofA football and basketball coaches are telling there recruits that they will be playing in the b12.Agree, if washington and oregon went to B12 they would only be there until the B10 offered so I don't think the b12 will even invite them.
