I love it, not saying I'm good at it, but i love it. I get trivia questions of the day sent to my email twice a day. Sometimes easy sometimes hard. Anyhoo, today's question was pretty interesting although easy (which shoe company's logo has three stripes?). But what is cool is the answers to the questions are always explained. Today's was about the history of Adidas... In 1924 Adolf and older brother Rudolf Dassler began a shoe company in their mother's house. It was called Dassler Bros. Shoe Company. After some time a relationship breakdown caused them to go their separate ways. Adolf then created Adidas and Rudolf created Puma. In 1952 Adidas acquired the 3-stripe logo from a Finnish footwear brand for two bottles of whiskey and about 1600 euros. The rest is history...To me the most interesting thing is that two brothers started rival companies that are huge players in the sports world today.
