This one is really going to be interesting. As the onion gets peeled back on Mccord, sure seems like kryptonite.

There's always people looking for a one year guy, but not ideal. That means you have a weak or busted qb room, or recent staff changes. We have both so he fits our immediate needs and there are other programs out there with the same situation.

Throw in all the demands and daddy rumors, coaches aren't going to warm up to that easily

I thought Rutgers at first. New Jersey kid, close to home, gets to stay in B1G and get that level of media. Would be the biggest recruit to R in a long time and could make some waves. However if the father stories are true, you are not going to see a dad pushing Schiano around. Conversely brand new coach at Syracuse with Camden ties that he is trying to build. I guess I understand the Syracuse smoke.

Rutgers looking hard at Minnesota’s former QB, who apparently had enough of Pee Jay. Not sure he’s better than Wimsett, though.

McCord could probably beat out Wimsett, but I doubt Schiano would just hand it to him.
