Those of us old enough to remember, what is your memory of where you were when you heard the news and what you did the rest of the day?
I was driving to work (about 10 minutes into a 25 minute drive) when my local radio broadcast was interrupted. At that time all that was being reported was that a large plane had hit the first tower. I got to work and turned on the TV and of course not too much later the Pentagon and second tower were hit, along with Flight 93 going down. I did no work and just watched the news stations all day. I remember the utter confusion, anxiety, and fright from everyone because of the uncertainty that followed. I had such a deep anger and sadness from that day to the months that followed. I've never had a feeling like that before or since. God Bless America and GBR!
