• An FCS game would be almost

• Yeah doesn't make much sense to me

• Zips are is good position to win the rest of their games. So will be 8-3. Won't need this extra game. 9 wins if Nebraska game.

• Everyone knows we would have beat Nebraska and they were too afraid to reschedule

• I can't see it happening because it would cost at least $250,000 to bring a team to Akron, and that isn't in the budget. Especially with our Nebraska $1,000,000 not being a sure thing.

• I have not really been in favor of trying to buy a home game against an FCS school to get a 12th game

• Akron not paid!! Per "Cathy Bongiovi, Akron's assistant athletics director for communications, said there was "no update at this time."" The trip cost the Zips $165,000.

• I've heard from multiple sources that Nebraska's payment was originally scheduled for March 2019. So until that time I don't there's going to be much meaningful discussion on the topic. If there's no payment by next March, then things get more concerning.

COLORADO

• over the last 3 seasons and 20 conference games, the Nubs have beaten exactly 1 team with a .500+ conference record.

• Nub fans secret they never want to admit: they do consider us a rival.

• I’m so glad they hate us. Every Nub fan still has nightmares of Black Friday 2001. The day their aura of invincibility was forever destroyed.

• Nebraska has the second best offense in the B1G, IMO. I see better days ahead in Lincoln.

• I think part of the reason the UNL-NU rivalry is good and enjoyable is because their fans weren't around in the Dark Ages and actually see us for who we are - a consistent 8-9 game winner with the chance to lose to anyone or beat anyone on any given day. A lot of others still want to see us as a team they should beat, even when everything on the field suggests we're a better team.

• NU and Wisconsin are now 14-14 in their last 28 meetings. Nothing "shocking" to beat UW.
