Slow Friday. Since its clear that TA wil be our #1 guy, rather than trashing him, what changes can we make to get the most upside out of him. After rewatching a few games i was amazed at some of the plays Tommy made and disgusted at just as many.
The obvious answer is to put him in a position where he doesn't have to make as many decisions but how would Langs do that?
1.Keep him out of the pocket as much as possible. For whatever reason he was more accurate or made better decisions when rolling out. (For the most part) Maybe its the threat of him running that opens up the field more?
2. Make him a running threat, similar to what we saw in the spring game. We have a QB that can run, USE IT.
3. Hopefully we see a refined screen game this year, not sure if Tommy will ever be a good screen passer but we need them to be successful to prevent teams from forcing him to launch the ball.
4.Stop launching 45 yard Fly routes every 3rd play.
5. Run the dam bawl.
How do you think Langs should adjust to TAs upsides?
