I think the point the poster was making, if Petras tore his Labrum he clearly wasn’t faking an injury to protect BF, as you have stated.
CJD is Cooper Dejean, he just flipped the J and D. He got knocked out first possession and True Freshman got absolutely smoked by Palmer at least twice.
The good CB you are referring to is Moss I assume? It’s an adjustment PP should have made. However it wasn’t anything to do with CB being afraid of getting smoked by Palmer.
Iowa doesn’t travel their cb’s. They line up on the same side, every play, every game. Been that way for entirety of PP at Iowa. Just how he chooses to run his defense.
Give Frost credit he took full advantage, and got Palmer on the correct side to test the Very green cb.

Small correction. Cooper DeJean did shadow the opponents #1 at times this season. Iowa defense is a lot less vanilla these days than the narrative out there. We play 5 dbs as a base now (4-2-5). We blitz and fake blitz out of this package a lot more. We will go 4-3 on short yardage.
I just looked and saw you need one more to make a bowl, so that’s definitely some extra motivation. Those extra practices matter. Good luck!
