Just rewatched the last 8 minutes of the game. We snapped the ball with 10 seconds or left on the play clock as long as the game clock was running Now, you could possibly argue it should be snapped with 5 seconds or less, but there are different set of problems with that method (more likely to false start, delay of game/wasting timeouts, audibling). People stating we were snapping the ball with 20-25 seconds on the play clock are blantantly false.

I still believe in this staff but their tendency to quit attacking when they are winning late in the game is maddening and I think more of an NFL mindset. When we were up 14, we should have been going for the jugular. Not running clock and going vanilla.

It's too easy to just take the word of the other posters than to actually re-watch the game. It's amazing sometimes how our real time impressions aren't always correct. That's why we so often get a "I have to watch the video before I can say what happened there for sure" from a coach post game. I hear it from NFL coaches all the time.

We threw on 4 if the last seven plays. 3 incompletions and a 3rd and 1 pass that was a fumble. How is that going conservative? It's flat out dumb. Amazing how people here just make up stuff.

Either/or would have been fine in that situation but we were trying to do both.

This is a thread about clock management. If you want to start a thread about how dumb our coaches were for not calling plays that worked, feel free.
