Donnie has had 1 good class, which is 1 more than I’ve produced and a fantastic sign

But the track record isn’t long enough to say definitively that he’s a “really good recruiter” yet.

I and everyone hope he proves to be just that over a meaningful period of time.

This is a great look. The petty bickering is dumb. I don’t think his O-line performed well last year, but he secured a program changing player and improved talent on the OL. There is a reason coach Rhule kept him around, and was proved incredibly correct thus far.

It's annoying, but ill admit it gives me flavor.

How else am I gonna know if Justin is waiting for me?

It has been reported in several places that this is the second best OLine class at Nebraska in the era.

I am excited to see what these guys can do. You are right, Donnie is a really good recruiter. Now we will see how well he does on the coaching side of things with these talented players coming in.

There are coaches other than Raiola with experience coaching Oline, and Rhule is clearly a fan of the position group. They have recruited well and the present guys have performed better than labeled.
Maybe with this level of recruiting and development we will see pipeline type of production in a couple of years.

that experience made the gamble on don worth while. said it then, stand by it now.

very glad it's paid off so far and excited to see how the wunderkind looks out there when the lights are bright

Agreed - this level of recruits is huge especially considering the 5-7 season last year and the lack of bowls. We get to bowl games and 9-10 seasons and the consistency will happen. I appreciate the kids coming knowing they are here to turn things around.
