Pretty good game. Not exactly like I thought it would be played, and for sure wasn’t rooting for the winner...but it was fun watching it go back and forth the last five minutes of regulation and the OT period. All that said, it was my first time to see Jessica Shepard play. I thought this big ol gal looks slow. UCONN will wear her out! That girl has some fine moves and can score pretty easily around the basket, plus she reads the cutters pretty well. Really good player. Thought when she got hurt Late that that was all for her. She came back and toughed it out down the stretch. I imagine Nebraska could have used her..... but...

They could have used her butt?
With her butt carving out space under the basket, NU could have made a run in the NCAA IMO. She's a really good player who just needed a fresh start given all the heat she took for Yori getting canned. I'm happy that things have worked out for her.

that was a couple outstanding semi-final games. mem today will have a hard time matching that competition. good to see uconn go down.

The wife and I watched the final 9 minutes in regulation and the OT.

UCONN went on a little run to go up by 7, only to have ND go on a 13-3 run to take a lead. The final 1:30 of regulation was crazy. ND had the win. Up by 5 with 21 seconds left and the ball, only to allow UCONN to get the ball and a 3, followed by UCONN getting a steal and easy layup to tie the game.

When it went into OT, I thought ND was for sure going to lose because of the way the final seconds in regulation went, but man they just didn't back down. Very impressive basketball.

My wife and I really enjoyed watching it.
