Some town in NY is sending a train load of its waste to Nebraska. BS, the state has been known to pull this before. This mat was desrtined for Sarnia, Canada until Sarnia found out about it and raised a stink (no pun intended).

That incinerator has been in Kimball for a long time. I don't remember the exact year, but I think it was licensed in the early 1990s. I have no idea whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I doubt that the answer hinges on this particular trainload of waste.

Should intercept the train at the border and send it back to where it came.

Years ago they put their waste on a barge. It floated around from place to place with no one agreeing to let them off load it. Forgot just what finally happened to the waste.

It's got to go somewhere, no? A hazardous waste incinerator is just the place for such a train.
