Walkon starting for Iowa again Friday

That's not saying a lot. Their QB have been inept this year but their offense still better with their new OC.

Nebraska was 20-13
Well your offense couldn’t had been any worse last season in total offense 130th last year, 101 this year..

I have come to the conclusion, the OP [ @SkulzNBonz ] is a well cloaked Iowa fan in major undercover black ops disguise. Why did it take me so long to figure it out... the OP appears to have a small bit of intelligence, which of course, goes against the very grain of an Iowa fan.

At least I trained @SkulzNBonz to just STFU with his word salads.

He'll be attacking an NU secondary that can't cover or tackle.
Come on now, you've never struck me as the overly reactionary type. I think our secondary will do fine on Friday. Especially Wright who played sick last week and was clearly affected. I think the defense will recover some face this week.

I hope so, but other than OSU, we haven't stopped anybody for 5 weeks now.

We've been a very poor cover or tackling team in the secondary all year.

Has anything changed since this article was posted last SATURDAY? I’m not convinced this guy will start until we here something in a day or two.

Nothing like posting a 4 day old article…
Here's your answer!

They have 4 QBs Stratton is QB3 with Cade and Brandon down for the year. Their QB4 James Resar which is true Freshman is a true dual threat QB with legit track speed. That dude right there could vould be a problem if Stratton goes down. Resar has no playing experience this year. Stratton was the starter against Maryland last week.

Help me out here… this article is even older and says McNamara will start for Maryland. He didn’t, but presumably would start if he is medically cleared for the game on Friday.

Where does it say officially that a walk on is the definitive starter for Iowa on Friday? Not that Ferentz is planning on it as stated in the first article you posted, but absolutely the starter as your thread title clearly states?

-- Jackson Stratton said that right when Iowa offered him a preferred walk-on spot, he didn't hesitate to take it. Stratton cited that his belief in himself and what his abilities are. He told us that right when Iowa reached out-- he knew he was going to come here. "I can play at this level. " 20 hours ago

Research is yore friend!

No comment? @timsun?
Sorry it took me more than nine minutes to respond lol… how in the hell does that prove that he will be the starter Friday? It says that he is confident, but that’s it. Maybe you don’t understand research… And maybe I should stop taking the bait. You’re trolling is evident…

Sounds like Sullivan is available if needed as well. Sullivan was great against NW and WIS but then had a bad game at UCLA. Some of the UCLA thing could have been the injury as he didn't seem right after the first qt.

How can that be? We all know that the walk on will be the starter. There’s no way Sullivan could be available, just read the thread. Oh, and by the way, is this thread starter one of your trolls?

Come on now, you asked for proof that Stratton will be the starter. And OP clearly posted and BOLDFACED proof that Stratton believes in himself! What more do you want?!?

Let me just summarize what we know at this point: All Iowa QB's are available for Friday.

Still, Ferentz confirmed that walk-on-redshirt sophomore quarterback Jackson Stratton remains Iowa’s starter headed into Friday versus the Huskers.
