An update for anyone that cares or is going through something similar.
I finally got a hold of someone who is current with information and they told me that Moos is trying his best to work on the donations issue. Obviously this is happening more by the year as the baby boomers are passing. As everyone knows the years long waiting list for season tickets are gone.(hopefully Frosts hire will help that)
Sounds like for anyone in a situation similar to me, there is now a new legacy program where the tickets can be retained for three years @ $100-250 per seat. Then, three years at $200-350 per seat. (could be more or less, that's just an example range they gave me for most seats) Also it has to be bloodline. So my father is the one who gets to make that decision since he was the one paying directly up front for the past 35 years.
This all depends on how premium the seats are considered to be. They intend to increased these prices every few years to the 2k per seat which is where they would stay.
Now i'm not sure if that's a direct result from Moos or not but he is certainly gotten the credit from everyone i have talked to. At least its something. Hopefully he can work further on that issue because no one in memorial stadium should be paying 2000k per seat in "donations".
