Uh oh, crystal ball prediction for Bookie to Clemson...

Clemson writer.. he's not very good at picking.
That's what I was wondering. Bookie is gonna say the right things. It means Clemson is a great school and they are coming off a NC... it doesn't mean he is going there.

I hope I don't have my head stuck in the sand, but I still feel like he is solid to Nebraska.

Never know with kids, I think he's solid to a lot of the coaches here, but if it looks in flux, all bets will be off. Long season ahead, I'm not worried yet.

He might be solid, but he ain't signed shit yet.

If we don't start winning games that actually matter one of these decades then we will lose kids like him. Not saying we will, but I think it is ok for people to fret. Our defense through two games looks like one of the worst defenses in the B1G. Hard to sell all the hype about the "blackshirts" and "throwin' the bones" to high end recruits when your defense looks ridiculous and just flat out awful

Put yourself in these kids' shoes, would you want to come here given what you have seen after two games? You could take the hopeful position and say, yea this gives the new kids the opportunity to play right away. News flash, they already think that.

For guys like Bookie it's more than just playing right away... he has talked about restoring Nebraska to a championship level. He is the caliber of player that can do that, assuming we keep getting that kind of player...

What restoration project does Clemson need? My opinion is that as long as we are competitive this year win 9 wins, he is ours. Less than that, maybe he becomes a toss up.

Ehhhh...I wouldn't worry about it.

I would, it means playing time.

DON'T WORRY UNTIL YOU SEE ME WORRY!

I for one am tired of this kid's behavior and would rather he just decommit now so we can move on. If he strings along our coaches all the way up til signing day and then flips this kid will be right up there with Josh Freeman for being the most classless kid that ever has decommitted from the Huskers. Obviously I would love to have the kid. But it just gets to be too much at some point. His behavior completely changed from when he was wanting to be the face of this recruiting class and helping recruit other players to Nebraska.

Anyone who says they "aren't worried" and "this kid is different and wouldn't do that to our coaches" obviously hasn't been following recruiting for very long. These kids care only about getting as much attention as they can. It's a ME ME ME world they live in. They are more concerned about how many twitter followers they have than anything else.

Let's say a man is engaged to be married but tells his fiancee that he still plans on dating and f@&*ing other women until their wedding day. And not only is he going to do that he is going to put up photos and videos and tweets about his experiences with these women for all the world to see. What kind of fiancee would put up with that?

Wow...and that illustration may be a bit over the top.

Wow, I've seen get off my lawn guy, and then there's this...

Just wow.

Ummmm NO! The kid can get tickets to some of the best venues in college football and get wined and dined Go for it as far as I'm concerned. He's only got this opportunity once in his life so I don't blame him one bit. If he decides to go elsewhere so be it but for now I'm fine with him taking in the sights.

One again... his visit to Clemson was unofficial. This means he wasn't wined and dined on the schools dime. As I said three days ago, this is one recruit that we can't afford to lose!

I realize that. He got access to tickets from somebody though. No doubt he paid face value for some very good seats if not sideline passes. My comment about wined and dined pertains to his 5 official visits. We have unofficial visitors that always seem to be sitting in the same seats with the official visitors though right?

So whenever we have people who are committed elsewhere come to visit, the flip to us every time, right? Even if it's on their dime?

It goes both ways... how many committed players elsewhere visit us and come to Nebraska?

For an unofficial visit, the school can provide him tickets to the game and he can be on the sideline, the only thing the can't do is pay his way and his meals. But they can still give him the dog and pony show and do all the selling they want.

I'm guessing Clemson has some "campus hosts" that are easy on the eyes as well....

I wouldn't worry about it, everyone. He is taking like 7 visits this fall. Most fan-boy writers will put in a prediction for him as soon as he leaves campus, because they are stupid and thats how they generate attention. Someone on this thread already said, the guy that posted that prediction is a Clemson writer and he's kind of a ding dong.

He's coming here because he likes the coaches, he likes that he can play right away and have an immediate impact, his cousin Tyjon is here and starting, and he's been peer recruiting like a mofo so some of his friends are coming here. If he goes to Clemson or Ohio State, it's very true that those schools are so bloated with talent, he may not see the field for 2-3 years, if that.

I am still worried and I will be until he signs

Sounds like he was just hanging out with a few teammates.

"What prompted that decision to take an unofficial visit was my IMG teammates (and current Clemson commits) Mike Jones Jr. and Xavier Thomas. I found out both were going to be at the Clemson game, and since it was only about an hour and 45 minutes from where I was in Atlanta, we figured we should go. My brother and niece came with me."

Hoping so... at the same time coach Dabo really sold the family atmosphere to him, which scared me a bit.

Signing day can't get here fast enough.

3 weeks ago everyone thought he was going to Florida. Let's not freak out every time this guy visits a school. He is just enjoying the process.
I still think he will be in Husker red... he would be playing with Tyjon, playing for Riley and Williams, playing in front of the greatest fans...

It's just that opposing coaches will say anything to land him.
