I was going to post this in the twitter thread but knew it would start a discussion so thought i would move it to a new thread.

I don't know how I feel about this situation. If this lady was raped I wish there would be some justice for her. But she throws out a lot of accusations and we do have due process in this country. Mike Riley might have bungled the situation in Oregon State, I don't know. But even if he did, I don't understand why he gets singled out. Did these 2 athletes also share a class together? If so, why not single out that professor? What about the other 2 men that did this to her? Why don't we single out their employers if they were not fired from their job (maybe they were, I have no idea).

Mike Riley had a situation in Oregon State. 2 of his players were accused of rape. But the rape victim dropped the charges. He suspended them one game but what else could he do? You can't kick a player off a team every time they are accused of something.

I hope this lady finds some peace. And I hope the Husker team learns something from her. But I feel like Riley is being unfairly criticized on this. I'm sure others will disagree and I welcome that opinion.
