Petteway?
Jerry Fort? No, actually I think it was Pike. Maric and Hamilton were first team their senior years and I think Lue only was first team his junior year. But I may be wrong about Lue.
Piatkowski for the win. He was 1st team All-Big 8 in '93 and '94.
Lue, Hamilton and Maric were 1st team All-Big XII in their final years only ('98, '99 and '08). Correct that Lue was 1st team his junior year. He declared after three seasons.

I knew Lue left after his junior year but I couldn't remember if he was first team as a soph. Damn, my old man's memory isn't as bad as I thought. Now if I could just find those $%&# car keys!
Palmer Jr, Pettway and while ever else, hopefully there not our last BIG AA players we have.
Some really good talent in the conference back in the day. That Kansas team with Paul Pierce, Raef LaFrentz, Jacque Vaughn, and Scott Pollard is maybe the best team to not win the title.Just looked it up. Lue was 2nd team All-Big XII in '97 as a sophomore. You wanna feel old? Chauncey Billups, Raef LaFrentz and Tony Battie were on the 1st team. Paul Pierce was on the 3rd team and Mikki Moore was honorable mention.

Crazy that Collison just retired after this season. Russell Westbrook was being recognized for some award toward the end of the year and he did a nice tribute to Collison knowing that it was probably the end for him. He was with the Sonics/Thunder franchise for all 14 of his seasons in the NBA... you hardly ever see a guy with one team that long.Hinrich, Collison and Simien not too shabby, or Hinrich, Collison and Gooden. KU just couldn't get over the hump.
