He might but he can’t probably share that with transfers. It would leak out quickly if he did.
Not sure about that. I don't pretend to grasp the details of how those conversations work. I know for sure that Rhule's not going to sit on his hands and lose a portal target for that reason.
If it were Butler, I think Rhule would have announced it, so I tend to believe its a DC who is currently involved with maybe a Playoff team or another bowl team. Maybe its the finalization of a contract that's the hangup.
At any rate, he needs to get it right.

I'd take him. USC's offense hasn't been the problem and their receivers are talented.
He's a talented kid. He and DR are close, so we may have chance. I think he was considered a TE coming out of HS, but USC played him split out.

They're missing one name on that list that's in the portal Ethan Nation. There are currently 19 in the portal including Ethan. We have a little ways to go and the portal is only open until the 28th. We can only have 105 so we had to already get rid of 50 to make it down from 155 and then and another 20 on top of that as we took 20 in this class so 71 had to go as Keona and Emmett came back if this calculation is correct and if this is how this works. I'm assuming whatever transfers we take in will add to the original total of how many players have to go.

My understanding is they don’t have to go as of this transfer portal… The roster in the fall of 2025 needs to be 105. Until then, we are going to have numbers that exceeded 105 I think…

Do we want all-conference talent? Obviously. But a guy who is one spot out of the rotation at a school like Georgia can be in the rotation at NU.
What is becoming very obvious is that Omaha is not producing jack shit as far as talent goes. Outside of Lloyd, not one dude has panned out in a long ass time skill position wise. It'll get the natives fired up, but need to quit recruiting these kids. I'd rather take fliers from smaller schools out west than the metro kids at this point. Better success rate. Hell Aurora alone is better than the metro.
I agree, but that's why I included him. I haven't seen many true NT types in the portal so far.
