Top 20 2025-26 recruiting class 2FiveCrew

Imagine if they could land this guy...

2026: Sanders at LT. Taumua LG. Brix RT. DR is a junior. Nelson at TE. Barney, Lloyd, Coleman at WR.
Add Parker, Dowdell, and EJ at RB. Gibson Pyle and Jacob Hood to Oline. Ian Flynt is likely the TE with Nelson being some sort of flex.(unless he transforms his body type) Shaping up nicely on Offense talent wise.

I actually think all of them being here together is a plus. We have a better shot at Mozee and Sanders but a trifecta moves the needle BIG TIME. still likely finish in top 15 if we get 2 of these 3 and a few more of the bigger fish we are after..... CJ.....

So now the recruiting visit excitement continues with Michael Terry, a five-star athlete/wideout visiting on Monday and Tuesday. He had very positive things to say after his first visit to Lincoln although recruiting experts currently consider Texas to be in the lead for his services.

Gotta hand it to the staff they’re willing to put in the extra time for big recruit football, particularly with how bad of a product he had for decades✊🏻
Yet, Rhule is gonna have to tone down the koolaid talk on some guys until they prove otherwise.

I don’t really see Rhule toning it down much, it’s just who he is. Always building up guys. And now that we know this, we’ll wait for the product on the field before crowning them.

As much as he admires Husker tradition and honors Coach Osborne, this is one area where he is pretty much the polar opposite of TO. Privately, he probably encouraged them, but always was close to the vest publicly.

Was not unusual for TO to talk about great players from teams we were going to face, and he also would call many of our players "great players", but of course, that was based on their play on the field and they had to prove it on the field before he used those glowing words.
