...has a chance to be a really feel good day, for our crowd to honor ALL our seniors, but, to me, ESPECIALLY this kid who has been a lightening rod for our team, to the point where he is THE indispensable player. I hope he hears our cheers from Saturday for the next 100 years. It has been a rocky path, but, even on head scratcher moments, he has battled back.

Blessings, TA.....quick healing and God speed.

Say what you want about his play, but the kid is a warrior and we are lucky to have him.

Hamstrings are tough. Riley was quite circumspect in his comments re TA yesterday. I suspect a game plan will be very much tailored to RF this week and if Tommy can go, he will. But I would be very cautious when it comes to the hammy.
I thought it was quite interesting in how he responded last game after very little live practice. Arguably his best game of the year. Perhaps being able to just focus on that mental aspects of game prep helped Tommy.

not really worried about him playing...just to be introduced will be a great thing....

The ledges we stand on are getting narrower and narrower...

If TA can't go this weekend I still think we win. If both weekends, 9-3 is more likely...

I think TA will get a great ovation no matter what and if he can't play maybe Ryker can have his Sr moment and lead his team to victory as the starting QB at Nebraska.

I predict Tommy plays. Maybe he doesn't last the whole game, but the kid will be out there. There are varying degrees of hamstring injuries from a pull to a strain. It also depends where on the hamstring the injury occurs.

Nebraska wins this Saturday, with or without Tommy, but I'd really like him to get to play in his final home game.

Vegas oddsmakers have set the spread at Nebraska -14.5 - that's even without certainty on Tommy's status.

I would really like to have him available for Iowa and the bowl game.

You don't push hammys against Maryland. They are nagging injuries that need rest. We need him for Iowa and bowl game. Rely on your defense and run game with simple pass routes. We should beat Maryland without tommy.
Of course if he's good to go he will play.

Wrap up a crappy ankle and play. Limit the mobility. But muscles like the hamstring are what make the leg go. I hope they are very conservative.

So basically it will be a hand off to Newby, another hand off to Newby and for the exciting 3rd and short, a drop back to pass and sack for a 10 yard loss.

Great...looking forward to the game plan!

Honestly, I'd love it if the student sections starts chanting, "We want Zach!" "We want Zach!"

As tough as it may be for him to seat out Senior day, we need Tommy as healthy as possible for the Iowa game which is three times more important to win than the Maryland game...

That being said we should beat Maryland with Fyfe and Darlington leading the charge.

GBR!

He completed a 99 3/4 yard YOLO bomb to Q in the Gator Bowl and then it became his go to play for the next three years.
