TJ Bollers

Can't remember the last time Nebraska had this much talent that the rest of the country is trying to sign. Glad we already have Teddy P. Hope we can sign the rest. Dickerson will be tough.
Say what? o_O

Aren't they buddies? Don't think we could get a package deal from Iowa?
They're from very different parts of the state so even if they're friends, each of their decisions for where to go will be separate and choosing the same place will be coincidental
(imo of course)

Anyone familiar with Triumph the Insult Dog? Imagine his voice saying, "Well, if Bollers goes to Alabama at least Nebraska and Iowa will never have to worry about playing against him. I kid, I kid!"
Hope he enjoys getting splinters in his ass at Bama.

Hmmm
MR starts recruiting well in Cali, ucla shows up recruiting various Nebraska kids.

SF and staff start going into bama and georgia........
While our choices are currently fewer, bamas arent. TJ will know how he's doing with them eventually.
Is he plan 1A for bama?

And go figure that Jimbo Fisher is mere hours behind Saban offering Bollers.

I don't doubt the staff's ability to recruit especially after this past season, but all things considered, for us to get a pledge from this kid (and consistently annually) from the others who have offers from everywhere, Nebraska is gonna need a winning season and significant proof of development going on.

Does bama run a 4-3 or a 3-4 D? Bollers comes off as a pretty intelligent kid and he knows he will fit a 3-4 better. If I’m understanding correctly it’s the reason why he ruled out Iowa and had it down to pretty much Wisconsin and Nebraska... kid will make the choice that is best for him

They are not “buddies” they know who each other are much like a kid from North Platte might know a player from Omaha they camped with one summer.

Meh. Sure, Bama has a beautiful campus, southern belles, great weather 10 months out of the year - other than those pesky tornados, and there are actually about as many Midwestern, suburban kids there as at any school in the Big Ten (well, other than in the athletic dorm). But, Sabin is growing old and getting comfortable and complacent. Bama is on the edge of a long, slow downward slide. If Bollers goes to Bama, he won't sniff a NC game, let alone a playoff. (That's what I'm telling myself anyway)

Must suck to lose all your top in state talent. But then again...who would want to go to Iowa?.RollingLaugh

Unlike the state of Nebraska, Iowa produces multiple talent in High School sports based on available scholarships they can’t take them all. Historically Iowa has been much better in poaching talent out Nebraska in both football and basketball than Nebraska has coming into Iowa.

Whatever helps you sleep at night junior. With brainiacs like Bookman in Iowa is it any wonder why your state is the national joke because you can't count to save your lives. Lol

Iowa has backed off him and now he’s on record wondering why Iowa won’t give him attention. This isn’t Iowa missing on a recruit. It’s by choice. Unlike some schools Iowa doesn’t offer literally anyone and everyone.

Fidone is another one that probably fits well with your culture . On record worried that the locker room is too full with talent at Iowa to get PT. That weak mentality that you can’t beat out the best is why he’s a better fit at a program scratching to get to 6 wins.

What Basketball talent went to Iowa besides Woolridge who transferred because he wasn’t starting with Strickland and Boone?

Most of Nebraska talent went to Kansas and so has some of Iowa Basketball talent who also went to Lawrence..

Iowa has never lost a recruit that they wanted amirite? Iowa “backed off” Bollers because it has been clear they are at best his third or fourth team. Funny you say Fidone “wouldn’t fit” even though Ferentz is recruiting him hard. Excuses excuses. I don’t even know if either land at Nebraska but I enjoy the excuses coming out of Iowa for losing two top in state recruits.

I’m surprised Ferentz is still recruiting Fidone. We all know how lazy he is on the recruiting trail. Probably won’t be long until he gives up

Two guys "on record" and no links to prove it. I'm not saying you're lying, but you're lying. I will graciously apologize as soon as you prove I'm wrong.

He doesn't have a clue. The only Nebraska guys Iowa has gotten in football are, low 3-star guys without Nebraska offers, guys like Bazata and Ott. While Nebraska has taken College Football Hall of Famers like Trev Alberts from lowly Iowa.

Do you ever get tired of being proven to be a jabbering moron Bookman?? Serious question?

Or maybe he seen how Iowa mismanaged Noah Fant and like’s what he sees in Nebraska uptempo offense compared slow pace let the clock run down offense..

Fant was the second best TE on Iowa’s team at the time. He got the touches he deserved. They also had a QB who’s IQ wasn’t the best which led to missed opportunities and I’m happy to admit that.

He doesn't have a clue. The only Nebraska guys Iowa has gotten in football are, low 3-star guys without Nebraska offers, guys like Bazata and Ott. While Nebraska has taken College Football Hall of Famers like Trev Alberts from lowly Iowa.
in addition to this, they also had a nice run when our coaches (callahan, bo, riley) decided to completely ignore in-state talent.

several good players, some future pros from Millard North (Seth Olsen, Adam Shada, Jeff Tarpinian) went to iowa after winning multiple state titles in NE.

barney cotton once asked who Millard North was when Coach Petito introduced himself at an NU camp when the starting center went there. Coach never went back, and that was almost 20 years ago now. those 3 are idiots for shunning in-state talent, especially from a school that produced our last Heisman winner, and I'm so glad Coach Frost is righting those wrongs now.
