It dawned on me the other day; after this season we lose Carter, Cotton, and Foster to graduation leaving the position wide open with little experience for our underclassmen.
We are left with Engelhaupt (rFR), Snyder (rSoph), and Stoll (rFr) as our only scholarship TE's next year. I guess you could move McNitt back to tight end, but I could only see that if Ben Miles is as good as advertised.
We have Austin Allen already committed in this class and it sounds like we will probably take one more TE/H Back recruit.
So I guess my questions are:
1. Who out of the aforementioned players will become the starter at TE next year?
2. What is the consensus on Snyder? Will he be poised to be the starter at TE next year?
3. Is there any interest in taking a JUCO TE, or does the staff prefer to coach up high school kids?
