I have never been to a bowl game and I want to take my dad!... think it would be a fun trip. I looked at tickets and unless you want to sit in the upper deck they are not to cheap. Will they come down in price or do I just bite the bullet and get some decent seats? Opinions of people who have purchased bowl tickets in the past and their experience on when to buy them?

Thanks

We're buying our tickets the day before, and feel confident we'll get lower level at a better price compared to now. Don't go through the athletic department unless you have clout, most of the seats are garbage.

Thanks for the response! Are you going to buy them on stubhub or Ticketmaster or just go and scalp? Like I said I've never been to a bowl game and think it would be a cool Christmas present for my dad

@cdriftt24 huskers.com has tickets in the corner of the end zone, $130/ticket which is more than what's online directly from the bowl game website. I believe the bowl website is $75/ticket plus fees.

Shows how dumb it is to buy from the athletic department.

I really thought about gambling on the waiting game. I have done it before. Craigslist usually has a bunch the week before. However, looking at prices online and at the place I bought them from, I saw there was a 3+me package deal (so 4 tickets).
Type
Me+3 4-Pack Offer

Price
US $57.00 x 4

Service Fee
US $10.25 x 4

Facility Charge
US $3.00 x 4

Additional Taxes
US $0.95 x 4
+29 for a parking pass.
So, Total came up to like 319 for 4 tickets for row AA.

There will be a lot of tickets on the street guys...y'all come on over and enjoy the city, it's a great place to hang out for a few days. Tickets will be cheaper on game day on the street.

How did you get the 3 + Me deal? I saw it but now can't find it anywhere?

Landed the 3+Me deal last night. $57 each plus a whole lot in ticketmaster fees. 12 rows up in the endzone. Went through the Music City Bowl website but it appears that deal is no longer available.

I hate ticketmaster and will pay extra just so I dont have to go through them.
