The state of the NU Athletics Program

Volleyball had a nice run and is a very consistent national contender, which is great, but honestly for me volleyball is not that big of deal.

Volleyball had a nice run? Are you kidding me? Currently, the volleyball program is one of the top 4 programs in the country. John Cook has won 3 National Championships since 2000 and has a record at Nebraska of 499-65. That is an 88.5% winning percentage. He is 168-52 against ranked opponents. The volleyball program is one of the few women's programs in the country that actually turns a profit. To think the Nebraska Volleyball Program is trending downward because they lost some talent is laughable. The volleyball program reloads with talent every year.

Hate to break it to you...the Nebraska Volleyball Program is the premier program at the University of Nebraska and has been since 2000. John Cook is by far the best coach at the university.

Fans of the football program can only wish and dream to have that kind of success.

Have a nice day. Winking

I can't believe this is even a debate honestly. All 3 of the major sports at Nebraska are struggling, bad. We are (insert any really average school here), with a little more tradition. Basically, right now, we kind of suck at a lot of stuff.
The football program is not struggling bad. To say so is just ridiculous hyperbole(but not surprising coming from you). You lump football in with basketball and can't see the difference between the two?

don't fret, we finally are getting a passing qb for a passing offense!
(let just hope they don't switch to a system for a run pass qb next year.)

That's it...everybody knows I live & die based on our bowling team. Said scholarship athlete, who shall remain nameless, should've picked up the split in the 7th frame...and I mean starting in the middle instead of the left, what WERE they thinking? F'n ruined my weekend...

GBR
