Its a PC crazy world, as I watched Jimmy Kimmel's little Thanksgiving skit its easy to see how overly sensitive to Political Correctness we can be. So it's always hard to try to appreciate and agree with that when dealing with those that use the word Retarded so flippantly as an adjective to whatever act frustrates them. If I see it I usually post that I wish they wouldn't use that word in that context and if they would ever spend an hour with someone with Developmental Disabilities they wouldn't use that word again. Well, Erin Grace with the OWH was great enough to do a Thanksgiving Day article about someone with DD so now at least you can spend 15 minutes reading about someone with DD and what those around this young man think of him. I think it applies to all with DD greatly.
