so it appears we may be close to fully approving a 10th full time coach on the roster with availability to recruit. Mike Riley has stated after the previous hire, that if this rule did come down, the 10th coach would be on offense staff to even it out. My question to you all is would you rather have the current on staff Taviata become that coach, or have coach Riley find a new to the staff person?

The fact Taviata is already on staff and coaches TE which probably would make most sense for a position coach of the 10th spot are in his favor, but I also see Riley making home run hires of new coaches that he has not had a personal background with. I still think recruiting should be the focus, and while Taviata may have the right ethnic background, I do not see any recruits he has been primary on committing so not sure how much of a recruiting impact he can make.

I guess I am of the opinion, we go out and get a new coach as it appears the wallet is open to pay for a recruiter shown by previous hires as well as networking to find and bring them in. Would like to see maybe Tackle specific coach for O-line and/or TE coach as the position.
