Not to reopen old wounds, but it appears Shawn Eichorst landed on his feet after his failed Nebraska tenure. He's now the Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Operating Officer for Texas. He was hired by them in 2018 as Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for Internal Affairs and later promoted to his current position.
