The ‘don’t be that guy’ thread wanted me to see what y’all do for the upcoming gorgefest day. My wife and I moved to North Carolina a little under 12 years ago so this is our 11th Thanksgiving away from our families. We have developed a great tradition. One of my best friends from
back home lives outside of Richmond so for the past 10 years we’ve alternated spending the holidays at one another’s houses. I think three times we did an AirBnB at different locations but usually one of us hosts. This year we are heading up Tuesday night after work and will have 5 nights of too much food, too much drink, and so much football it will make a person’s head explode.
And while I appreciate the other holidays, this holiday has evolved into by far my favorite.
