Had he hired just about any other HC a few years ago, they would have gotten a 4th year more than likely. This means we would have missed out on our Scott Frost window.
Could we have hired Frost three years ago? Sure, but at least now SF has experience as an HC and has things moving in the right direction and the experience running his own program.
Eichhorst was a doosh/fail, but he may have been so bad, that he did us the biggest favor we could have ever imagined.
