Televised Spring Game Against Another Team?

It wasn't a dig, it was an impersonal you, meaning people in general.

I just think too much is made of not having a spring game. I don't know if it is that much of a recruiting tool anymore. Nebraska has had 60,000 plus at their spring game for the past decade, has that helped the recruiting all that much? Marketing is just selling the product. If the program is dependent on a monetarily successful spring game, and this event doesn't cut it, then they will either try to market it better next year or change it. Personally, I think it is a fun thing to attend, I have been a couple of times myself, but I am not sure that it attracts people that aren't already fans. About the only thing it does, as far as attendance is concerned, is that it may allow for people to see a "game" that may not normally get to see one because it will be considerably cheaper than a regular season home game.
Well the last part is pretty important and why it is just a giant FU to the fans. The spring game is the only chance a lot of families have to actually take their kids to see a Husker football atmosphere. But it's all about money now and milking the fans for all they are worth, no one gives a **** about anything else.
