Once again the call gets blown and they kick out a Louisville player for a good football hit.

Well, the rule should help the average game scores to rise. Defenders will become more tentative about going in for tackles.

Cichy for Wisconsin sat out the first half of tonight's bowl game and just had 3 sacks on 3 consecutive plays... not sure if I've ever seen that before...

Did you see the Baylor game earlier today? The Baylor kid actually left his feet and hit the receiver high, (which in my opinion wasn't targeting) but it was called. But here is the catch the play was reviewed and overturned, so the Baylor kid was not ejected from game and no foul. BUT it was way closer to being actual targeting to what Gerry was called for, the Baylor kid actually left his feet and launched/dove. Unlike Gerry, making a form tackle. I have no problem with making the call just make it a constant call in every game. It can't be targeting in one game and not another when it is basically the same play. Or completely obvious and overturned as not, but a form tackle is reviewed and still called targeting. Too many iffy calls.
