What's the deal with him? He was highly touted coming out of High School. He has the size, and supposedly he is strong as an Ox. I know he is only a Redshirt Freshman. Any info on him????

Glad to hear. thanks for the info. Farmer is a mountain of a man, would hate for him to leave. would love to see our 2 guards. Foster and Farmer.
Good to hear. Had heard he was a player deeply hurt by Bo's departure. Sounds like Dad is there to keep his head on straight.
Unless they really don't like the new staff, I can't see either leaving. They both look like they could start next year. If they transfer they will lose a year sitting in the bench unless they go JUCO.
I've heard that him and Foster are maulers at the guard spot, but since they are the "best" pass blockers that is why they aren't getting time. If we were a run first team we would probably see Farmer and Foster. Both are studs, and are going to be very good if they can get the pass pro thing down.

False, Tanner caused his own problems from the second Pelini was fired through fall camp. He's very luck he's still a part of the Nebraska football program, and has nobody else to blame but himself as to why he's on the scout team. It's up to him to change it this upcoming off-season, he's been given that opportunity.
You must be able to pass pro to play in this offense. Maulers wont cut it in a pass first WCO. Unless both can adapt, they will not likely ever see the field if they get their QB killed
He was an athletic freak coming out of high school. I had some co-workers that were friends of his family and they always said he was destined for greatness.
His positioning tells me that he's probably still developing and awaiting his turn. I no longer work with my old co-worker so I haven't been able to hear about his development.
