He's out of eligibility. This is one of those strange deals where the guy has played 5 years but needs a waiver. Probably just better to go pro IMO. Begging for a waiver to play 6 years is kind of lame.

new world with NIL. If he is told he won't be drafted, might as well try to find another year of getting paid. He's out of eligibility. Auburn lost to New Mexico State didn't they?Kicked auburns ass without him
Do you think these top guys leaving their teams has anything to do with wanting to win a conference championship? This one actually makes sense. Some of these guys are leaving really good situations and hunting for really great situations. But this one makes some sense, Maryland is never gonna win anything in the B1G.
I didn't realize that he was out of eligibility. I suppose he's hoping that he could get paid seven figures with a top college team first before he takes his shot trying to make an NFL team. He's out of eligibility. Agree….but his best chance to make money is NIL. So good for him. Still, can’t believe if he stays at Maryland, his top performance and awards wouldn’t give him a job for life in the athletic department. Pennywise, pound foolish.Guessing he didn’t get too many favorable draft grades
He’s talented enough that he’ll get signed and hang around on practice squads for several years at least. What he was hoping for was the million plus NIL deal while still being the BMO with college coeds knocking down his door for one more year. Not sure what the average 7th round or UDFA WB makes. Purdy makes around 800k.Agree….but his best chance to make money is NIL. So good for him. Talented enough to hang around the Hamilton Tiger-Cats practice squad in the CFL for at least one year. Hasn't played yet apparently. I thought he was a pretty good talent, but turns out he's a watered down version of his brother Tua.He’s talented enough that he’ll get signed and hang around on practice squads for several years at least. That’s a lot of right place right timesTalented enough to hang around the Hamilton Tiger-Cats practice squad in the CFL for at least one year. Hasn't played yet apparently. I thought he was a pretty good talent, but turns out he's a watered down version of his brother Tua.
And Tua is has turned out to be a watered down version of what people actually thought he would be. I think Tua is just one of those guys who was in the right place at the right time. Played for St. Louis in Honolulu, Alabama and now with Dolphins where he has a great receiver core with a system built around him.
'tis a fair pointThat’s a lot of right place right times
Just another player who loses a lot to the Chiefs. That’s a lot of right place right times
Maybe he’s just a good player who wins a ton?
I don’t get the constant need to detract from Tua
Weakish arm and 1 bad hit away from drinking out of a feeding tube for the rest of his life. Other than that, definitely worth 200 million.Just another player who loses a lot to the Chiefs.
Packers might give him $240MWeakish arm and 1 bad hit away from drinking out of a feeding tube for the rest of his life. Other than that, definitely worth 200 million.
Nah. Pack got their guy and he has anything but a weakish arm.Packers might give him $240M
Kind of like your guy was just another player who lost a lot to BradyJust another player who loses a lot to the Chiefs.
