Leadoff single through the left side. Next batter flies out to LF. Groundout moves the runner to 2nd. Groundout to Schlepp ends the inning.

Good thing we saved that bullpen for the pitchers duel on Sunday..

Leadoff walk for Alvarado. Mojo singles to RF and Alvarado makes it to 3rd but slips off the bag and gets tagged out. Wilkening Ks. Schlepp with an RBI double to left centerfield!!! Repinski in to pinch hit for Jake Meyers and he Ks to end the frame.

This is such BS when you don't have pitchers ready in your Bullpen !!! Bad pitching management always, loose this game someone should be canned.

Nate Fisher now in to pitch. Leadoff double for OSU. RBI double scores another run. An RBI single to CF. could say this isn't Nate's best day. Groundout to 2nd. Another single puts runners on 1st and 2nd. Yet another single loads the bases. 2 RBI single up the middle makes it an 11-5 game. Pitching change as Chad Luensmann comes into the game to relieve the struggling Fisher. Chad walks the first batter on four pitches to load the bases. A lined shot to CF scores a couple more runs for OSU

No killer mentality at all. This comes from up top. Erstad just does not know how to motivate these guys.
Can't say players fell a sleep, this is just a pitching coach problem period , you have pitchers ready and don't ever leave a guy in that long serving batting practice.
Helped along by the fact we had absolutely nobody else ready in the bullpen. It was like the coaches were considering it a win already and figured we could relax and let somebody take their licks.

Just saw what happened.
Silva should just be fired on the spot. That is absolute incompetency to let this become a game again. He must not have the ability to think ahead of the current situation/at bat (the deer in the headlights syndrome).
No games for another week and he lets Fisher throw batting practice to SEVEN hitters....you can't make this crap up.

Really nice job by Alvarado to come in and calmly put out the dumpster fire.
I'm sure the excuses will be made by the fans and the players will be blamed for this instead. This stuff happens and the fans can't understand why our pitchers are so unstable emotionally and pitch inconsistently.
Kid came through yesterday with the big hit and a huge save on the mound today.
OSU scored 14 of their 19 runs on the weekend in 2 innings. We had 25 mostly good innings pitching-wise on the weekend and just about blew the series because of two bad ones.
Especially with the game tying run at the plate for the last three outs.
That is why you have pitchers warming. Sure pitching them makes sense. But if they give up a couple runs and a few hits you pull them. It's not just about the one inning it's about building and growing your pitchers which includes their mentality.
Silva failed as a bullpen coach this weekend as he has before and fortunately our bats bailed him out of one of the games. It's not a bad thing to call it like it is and state when a coach needs to reassess the way he manages his bullpen. Luckily we had a 10 run lead.
Yesterday he did what made sense and it kept OSU from stringing the hits together and kept them off balance with each change. Why he doesn't take that approach more often I don't know unfortunately.
Wow, go yo a benefit dinner up 10 runs and come back to an epic meltdown. Wtf Silva. You have no games until next week. Why the hell not have people warming up. There are 2 mounds in a bullpen use them. Especially when you know how mentally unstable this pitching staff is (except for Meyers and Alvarado). Erstad needs to get his balls from the wifes purse and send silva packing. Frustrating.
