JUCO transfer catcher from the same school as Koty Frank. Here's a story about his commitment. Impossible to answer the second question but it sure would be nice to find a reliable left handed bat.

Wimmers was on crutches during the fall ball series. I do not know what the injury was but I am guessing that delayed him.

He was hurt in the fall then came back from winter break with a brutal case of the yips. It mind screwed him like no other.

Covering 2nd there was an awkward tangle with the runner coming from 1st. Both were in the dirt with the slide and the tag and we didn't get a good look at what happened.

Bolt mentioned a possible hyper-extension of the arm somewhere. Elbow? Core left the field holding his elbow.

He was trying to field a throw in the dirt from Everitt at the bag on a steal and it looked like he jammed/hyperextended his arm when the OSU runner slid into him. He had his left arm in a sling after the game.
