As I understand it he was initially going to Texas but they said he could not qualify, he then signed with Wisc because they said he would qualify but he didn't. Does not make sense as I doubt Texas has tougher requirements then Wisc. Now as it turned out NE and Stevenson both made out. If he had signed with Texas he probably would ended up as JUCO based on how Texas treated another recruit that did not qualify. NE made out as they got a player they never would have otherwise.
