- Urban Meyer visited CBC last week and met with the underclassmen per some CBC players I know who attended. Besides Babb, they have several other juniors and sophomores who will be solid D1 players. This includes Brett Gabbert, the youngest (and best in my view) of the Gabbert brothers (he threw for 3,000 yds as a soph with 31 TD and 4 Ints). One funny thing is that 2 of the kids I spoke to knew of Tyjon Lindsey's flip to NU from OSU...They are following recruiting.

- Kenny Wilhite, a St Louis native who is well known by local coaches from his playing days in Hazelwood, visited Cory Patterson of Trinity and several schools to see Trout, Babb, etc. Trinity sent an OT to Illinois this year and has a couple of sophomores with several offers already. I know Cory a bit and he really appreciated Kenny coming by. That said, other schools are calling on him, Florida State and Texas most recently this past week. I would note that Cory was the youth coach for Trout and several of these great players in the area. These players all know each other well.

- Cam Coleman, sophomore WR from Vianney with an offer, just transferred to IMG in Florida. His whole family moved there and his dad was quoted saying they thought it would give him the best start toward an NFL career. Kyren Williams, the other sophomore WR with an offer, is still at Vianney. Vianney won Class 5A this year after a slow start to the season.

- I sure hope HCMR and some others on the staff get down here asap after signing day to follow up on Mr Wilhite's great work. We hear about Babb and Trout the most, but there will be several others we need to pursue down here.
